It contains some of the offpage factors like what kind of websites link to yours,How many websites link to your site and their ranks,The page title of the website linking to your site,
the number of links on that site that is linking to your site,Numer of outbound links on that site linking to your site,still a lot more which we will discuss later.

In order to get indexed for the keyword "Online money making" you have to analyze the linking strategy of the 10 top ranked websites for that keyword.
After analyzing their strategy you must try and copy exactly the way they do things.You have to make your linking strategy better than they do.
Get as close as possible to the top ranked sites,but slightly try to outrank them by doings things better than them.
Let us understand this concept with an example.
I'm gonna choose a keyword that is highly popular.Let us use "Earn money Online".You will see how efficient offpage optimization is and what kind of rank it can get you if it's done in right way.

Open up an MS Word document or a spreadsheet.Design the following columns

1)Linking website
2)Anchor text
3)Page rank
4)Link popularity
5)Page title

Once you are done,do a google search on "Earn money Online".Check out the top 10 sites related to this keyword and create 1 MSWord or spreadsheet document for each of the top 10 sites.Now collect the above mentioned information on all 10 sites.
Now let us look at the above terms more closely.

Linking website:It is the specific site linking to www.webonlinebusiness.com/ ranked no 1 in google for the keyword "Earn money Online".
Now to find all the sites that link to www.webonlinebusiness.com/ you can type in "link:www.webonlinebusiness.com/".
You will get a huge list of sites that link to www.webonlinebusiness.com/.You can also try this out on yahoo.Make sure you include "http://"

Anchor text:It is the original text used within the link that is linking to specified site.In our case,the anchor text would be "Earn money Online".

Page rank:It is the actual page rank of a particular page linking to link:www.webonlinebusiness.com/
To see google page rank,you can download Google toolbar for free at http://toolbar.google.com

Link Popularity:It is just the number of links that are pointing to each of the webpages pointing to webonlinebusiness.com. You can find their Google link popularity by entering this search command into Google: link:www.thewebsitename.com then counting the total number of results that are shown.

Page title:AS the name suggests,it is the title of the page linking to webonlinebusiness.com.It should have the keyword "earn money Online" or "make money Online".You should contact those websites to get them to link to your site.
Number of Outbound Links:It is the totlal number of links located on the webpage linking to www.webonlinebusiness.com

After gathering all these information,we are all set to analyze the linking strategy of the website webonlinebusiness.com.With the help of these statistics we can figure out the percentage of websites that have the keyword "earn money Online" or "make money Online".
Now we have to replicate all these numbers,as close as we can,to set up our linking strategy.Once we are all set,we must approch each of these sites individually and ask them to insert our link to their site in exchange for us linking them to our site.
