How to use Blogs to make money Online part 1

Inorder to make money Online using Blogs you have to create one first.But how do we do that? That's what this particular lesson is all about.

I have gottten a lot of emails asking how to make money Online.Many netizens are pretty much excited about it.You probably have no perfect idea as how to go about it and its really hard to get anyone who knows it.
Though some of you have some knowledge about how to start business online you will still have lot of questions on your mind like do i have to build a website?how to sell products online?how to bring visitors to my website? the list goes on and on...
Some people think it is not possible to make money Online,some think otherwise but one should know the fact that there are millions of potential consumers out there and the opportunities are ample enough for anyone to generate revenue online.Sounds good.But how we do that practically?
Do i have to spend money to do that? The answer would be NO.The thing is that most of you wanna know how to implement them online.The online marketers would explain it to you only if you buy their product.As you know there are lot of get rich quick scams out there one would never wanna invest money on them.
But who do you count on?you have to come out of those MLM's,JV's and all those stuff.I'm sure you would have seen a lot of paycheck proofs put up on some sites.Do you think they would really earn 100's or 1000's of dollars a day.Oh come on!Think logically anyone making such kind of profit would never expose the secrets behind that.

Let's get to fundamentals and learn to make money Online using Blogs.I will try to keep this as simple as possible.
First go to blogger.com and create an account.Once you have set up an account select any topic you like.

Once you have selected a topic in blogger select Create account.

Pick a name and use your keyword in the name and blog address.For example i wanna call my new blog "Blogging basics" using the address "http://takeitfromsree.blogspot.com".
note:If your desired address in unavailable try using a dash like this "http://take-it-from-sree.blogsopt.com".Notice that you can still maintain your keyword.
It is very important to use your key word in the Blog's title and address.Because this plays an important role when it comes to indexing and serach engine rankings.

Now after filling the word verification box you will be taken to the template page where you will be asked to selct a template.

Initially choose the default Minima template later you can experiment with all those templates.The reason why i'm suggesting you to do this is because it would be easy for you to follow along wih me and it looks professional as well.In fact you are reading this post on a minima template.

Once you have selected click continue.

Congrats!You have successfully created a Blog.

Now select "start posting" and go to "settings" to make a few customizations.Type in your description.Make sure that your keyword is used atleast once or twice in your description.This is very important as i will explaini this when we get into search engine optimation(SEO).

Once you are done with your description select "save settings".Dont modify any of those yes/no settings.Let them be on default.

Now select "publishing" tab and select "yes" where it says "Notify webogs.com" and select "save settings".We are doing this to notify outside world whenever we post something on our Blog.

Select "formatting" and change "show" to 1 posts on the main page.(Default is 7).

Change "show link field" to Yes.Leave everthing as it is and click "Save settings".

Now,select "Comments"

Select "show"for backlinks.Select "yes" for pop up window and "yes" for word verification.for comment notification enter your email address.

Select "Archiving" set the frequency to "monthly" and "enable post pages?"to "yes".

select "save settings".

Now we are all set for our first post.Select "Posting"

You will observe that you have a Title field,a Link field and a box to type in your post.Make sure that every title has your keyword in it.

In the link field you would enter your Blog address.My link would be typed as http://takeitfromsree.blogspot.com

Replace takeitfromsree with your address.

Now keep your first post short and mention your keywords atleast twice.It should be like this.

Use your keywords atleast twice in the post and hit "Publish".

Now click "view blog".

You see how simple it is to create a Blog.You can customize your Blog by selcting "customize" from top right corner of your screen.You can also add or delete any section you like.

On top right hand side of the page there is a section called "Blog archive".Always leave this section for your visitors to find your previous posts.

Now let us add a page element to our Blog.From the main customization screen click the link "Add a page element".You will see a pop up screen with page elements listed on it.

What i'm about to expalin is of great importance for Online money making.

Add "Adsense" to your blog and click adsense "Add to Blog" button.Lemme explain why adsense is important.

The easiest and fastest way to start making money Online is using adsense.Google would display advertisements for your Blog for free.Eachtime someone clicks an advertisement on your Blog you will earn immediate commission from google.

If you have not set up an adsense account follow the instructions to get one.you will be provided wiht a publisher ID with which you can post adsense ads on you Blog.Once you have an adsense account you can choose a Format and use the Blend template option to choose your own colours.

You can use adsense channels to track your blogs and create your Adsense code in adsense Setup in your adsense account and then copy/paste the code generated into your blog manually. Don't use the "adsense" element for this - use the "HTML/JavaScript" element and paste in the code after the box opens.

I usually go with 160 x 600 vertical banner format.

Select "save changes" to see adsense box added on to top right hand column of your Blog.

Select "View Blog"to see the changes.

It takes a day or two for google to provide ads relevant to your Blog.Initially you may see only public service ads until google recognises your Blog's keywords.Don't forget to use your keywords several times in setting up your Blog.I always do this so that google will not no problems to figure out my Blog's keywords.

This ends the first lesson on Online money making using Blogs.You will have to spend some time writing a decent article about your keyword.Later I will show you how to get unique content without writing your own but for now you will have to bare down and do a little typing.
