Online money making:Getting Backlinks

To make money Online your Blog should attract constant traffic.You can do this by spending money on traffic programs like google adwords.If you are selling some products on your Blog then buying these programs are wise.

Say, for example if I get a product for $15 that could bring 200 visitors to my Blog and 2 of my visitors buy some product that I sell it for $30,I would get good profit and also I would buy that traffic generation product continuously.

But if you rely only on adsense,then you gotta figure out the ways to get free traffic.To get free traffic,you must opmitimize your Blog to get good page rank and get more backlinks than your competitors.Once you get a good page rank google would place you at the top of the search results.Well, this sounds simple right?..
This is where the problem is.Most of the people find it difficult to accomplish this task.It's not just about getting Backlinks but also about getting right backlinks.

Let us understand this concept better with some examples..

Basically,there are two types of backlinks.

a)1-way backlink:It is when another site/Blog creates a link pointing to you Blog/site.These type of links are very advantageous as google deems your blog as important and ranks your page higher.

b)2-way backlink:It is when two blogs/sites swap links with one another.These type of links are not beneficial and should be avoided.Because If your link is swapped with a Blog of some type then google would ignore your Blog.This type of exchanging link with a site/Blog of some other type is called linkfarming.

It is advisable to use 1-way link adn you can submit your Blog/site to a lot of free article submission directories.They might not add your link instantly.It would take some time for them to add your link but this would definitely work.Some of the direcries might suggest you to add their link to your Blog.Be careful,you must not entertain 2-way backlinks.

You can be a part of a lot of social networking sites,Online group discussion,forums.Join them and post lots of articles and leave your link there.Be sure to add your keyword in the link.By doing so,your Blog/site rank would definitely improve.If you want google to index your Blog for some fixed keywords,then your backlinks should contain those key words.
Social Bookmarking allows the flexibility in which anyone who visits and likes a site can easily click on their favorite bookmarking site and bookmark it

Say for example,I write an article about "Online money making" on Ezinearticles.com.My article has all my main keywords.Now if somebody does a google search on "Online money making",then google considers my blog as important because my article on ezinearticle.com (a very popular site) has a link that points to my Blog.

At the bottom of my article I include my keyword in my URL.Like this "For more information and tips visit Online money making using Blogs".
From that backlink google would get to know that my Blog is all about online money making and would index my Blog for the keyword "Online money making"

If I do not inlcude my key word in my last line and post something like this "for more information click here",then google would index my Blog for the keyword "Click here".I would definitely love to get visitors who are looking for making money Online instead of people who are looking for "click here".
Always use your keyword in every backlinks.The more your backlinks use your keyword,the better your rank gets.

Another big mistake many people make is using their blog's URL in backlinks.This is okay if their URL contains their primary keyword.I have never used my sites URL anywhere on this Blog.It's because I did not get a URL that has my keyword "Online money making".
If you title your Blog "Sree's Blog" and some sites uses this title, then you will get backlink for the keyword "Sree's Blog" which is not good if people use "Online money making" to get to your blog.
Imagine somebody doing like this:

"visit Sree's Blog for more details on money making Online"

It would be better if they do something like this:

"If you wanna know how to make money Online visit Sree's Blog"

Definitely both the sentences above make no difference in terms of what they mean.But when it comes to search engines,there will be a huge difference.
But you can email them and ask them to change your link.Give them the link you want them to use.By doing this,you have the control of your backlink appearence.If they ask you to link their site to yours,explain them about the importance of 1-way link.There is one last thing called Perfect backlink.
Imagine a page rank 10 site with the keyword "Online money making" in it,writes an article about making money Online and includes "Online money making" in a link pointing to your Blog.Then I can tell you with absolute certainity that your Blog would be on top of the search engine outranking many top websites having primary keyword "Online money making".
In fact, this is the best and easiest way to get backlinks.
